Speed up the process of setting up ‘Viewing Deck’ at Hasan Valley directs Deputy CM

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri presided over a meeting here today to review the progress made on development of ‘Viewing Deck’ in Hassan Valley near Dhalli, Shimla.
It was apprised that a Detailed Project Report of Rs.18 crore is in final stage, which comprises of around 600 sqm Glass Viewing Deck which will be suspended on nine ropes from the hill side and will accommodate around 700 to 800 persons at a time. It was also apprised that the project need diversion of forest land as it has been proposed to be set up in the Hasan Valley, a declared Wildlife Sanctuary area.
Sh. Agnihori directed to complete the DPR of the project within the next ten days and submit the same to the Director Tourism to accord Administrative Approval & Expenditure Sanction and funds for the same. He also directed the concerned authorities to prepare and follow up the Forest clearances under FRA for diversion of land so that it could be a major attraction for the people of the state and the tourists as well.
Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh who was also present on the occasion remarked that this would be an iconic project and an attraction for the tourists visiting the state.

उप-मुख्यमंत्री ने हसन वैली में व्यूइंग डेक के निर्माण कार्य में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए

उप-मुख्यमंत्री मुकेश अग्निहोत्री ने आज शिमला के ढली के समीप हसन वैली में व्यूइंग डेक के निर्माण कार्य के लिए आयोजित समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता की।
बैठक में अवगत करवाया गया कि 18 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत की डीपीआर (विस्तृत परियोजना रिपोर्ट) को अन्तिम रूप प्रदान किया जा रहा है। इस परियोजना के तहत पहाड़ी की ओर से 9 रस्सियों की सहायता से लगभग 600 वर्ग मीटर का ग्लास व्यूइंग डेक निर्मित किया जाएगा, इसमें एक बार में लगभग 700 से 800 लोगों को सुविधा प्राप्त होगी। यह परियोजना वन्य जीव अभ्यारण्य क्षेत्र हसन वैली में निर्मित की जाएगी इसलिए वन संरक्षण के तहत इस भूमि को परिवर्तित करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया गया।
उप-मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को आगामी 10 दिनों के भीतर परियोजना की विस्तृत परियोजना रिपोर्ट पूर्ण करने और इसे प्रशासनिक अनुमोदन, व्यय स्वीकृति और धन की व्यवस्था के लिए निदेशक पर्यटन को प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने संबंधित प्राधिकरण को परियोजना के सफल कार्यान्वयन के लिए एफआरए के अंतर्गत वन स्वीकृति के लिए इस भूमि को परिवर्तित करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि यह परियोजना शिमला आने वाले पर्यटकों के लिए यह आकर्षण का केंद्र बनेगी।
बैठक में ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज मंत्री अनिरूद्ध सिंह विशेष तौर पर उपस्थित रहे। उन्होंने कहा कि यह प्रदेश सरकार की महत्त्वाकांक्षी परियोजना है। प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा पर्यटन क्षेत्र के विकास को विशेष प्राथमिकता प्रदान की जा रही है।
